Not So Much An End, But A New Begining

This is the end for the Ugly Ducking challenge, but not the end of the del Saco bloodline. I have found that I have gone as far as I can with the genetics and that the sims aren't going to get any prettier. But I'm not done with the del Saco family. I'm going to be starting a new challenge, a continuing of this story called The Wolf's Curse. I hope the readers of this story will continue to follow me in to the next.

The Big Opportunity

Ami sat in the sandbox, staring off in to space. It wont be long now and I'll have my birthday... Julie wants to be a musician like dad... Chace wants to be a scientist... Even Freya knows she wants to be an artist... But I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life.

As Time Goes By

As Ami got closer and closer to graduating, she began to sense that someone was watching her more and more. It wasn't just at home anymore. Sometimes it was when she was out and about or even when she was at school.

Is Someone There?

Not long after Chace and Freya's birthdays came Leisure day. Melanie spent some time playing catch outside with Ami.

Gnome of Doom

The girls got along well enough as children but they didn't spend all that much time together. Occasionally they'd play with the football Alexander obtained during a concert, (I don't know why, but someone threw one on the stage), or watch television together. Julie, admittedly, found her sister to be a bit strange. Not just because she was a witch either since her mother seemed perfectly fine.

Children! Children Everywhere!

Now that the holidays were over, Melanie was able to continue finishing up the toddler's skills. However in the midst of teaching Julie how to walk, she was filled with a familiar nausea.

A Little More Crazy Every Day

Alex spent the whole next day preparing to have Melanie over. When he finally called her over, he had her come in to the living room. "Melanie... This is not how I wanted this to happen. But I love you, I really do. And I was going to do this anyway, just not so soon." Alex knelt down and pulled out a ring. "Melanie... I would love it if you would become my wife... and make us a complete family."

Generation 4: A Rocky Start

Right after graduation, Alex bought himself a home. His mom didn't have much money to give him but he was able to get the little boat house his mom and aunt had once considered when moving to Lucky Palms. Alex was so excited, he didn't even take off his graduation robe.

A Wedding Invasion

One night the del Saco family got another visitation. However this was a different alien named... Ukpop or... something like that, I'm not good with names.

Pies, Girls, and Dog Bellies

You'll be happy to know that both Sahan and Piper Sparks (his old flame) behaved. In fact they never even spoke. Maybe Sahan's afraid of the big plumbob in the sky. Anyway, one day at the kitchen table, Alex sat down across from his mother with a smile. "Hey, I think I know what I want to do when I get older." "Oh? What's that sweety?" "I want to be a singer I think. Perform on stage and such."

Keep Your Hands To Yourself Sneak Thief

Sahan had a little bit of a hard time settling in. While Pearl loved him there, Alexander and Lilly weren't so happy. Alexander wasn't so thrilled about Sahan for a few reasons. One was that he knew what his father had done, as Lilly had told him when he was old enough. He was afraid that Sahan might do the same. He was also a little jealous. While Pearl took good care of him, she had always been a little distant. Lilly wasn't fond of him mostly because she's Lilly and was afraid he'd be a big mooch. When winter rolled around, Pearl decorated the house for the holiday season. Including a bit of mistletoe.

Fall Brings Changes

A few days later, Sahan called up Pearl to go on a date. It was a simple dinner and a movie but Pearl loved every minute of it.

Smells Like Wet Dog

Alexander went to his first day of school in smelly protest.

Rain Drops Keep Fallin' On My Head

After Pearl left the festival and went to bed, there was a strange noise outside. This.. being was walking up to the door.

Sunny Side Up

The following morning, Lilly woke up and went to Alexander to hold her nephew for the first time. "Hey there little man... Good morning..."

The Baby Blues

Pearl and Lilly were strapped for cash and could barely afford to feed themselves. Feeling desperate and out of sorts from all the hormones coursing through her, Pearl decided to hit up the slot machine that had once won her a lot of money.

Sorry To Burst Your Bubble

Jaycen answered the door and let her inside. "What brings you to my home, Pearl?" "W-well I was just in the neighborhood and... and I wanted to see you and... Umm..."

I Like It Hot

The next morning, Pearl walked out of the bathroom all fresh and ready for the day and in to the kitchen. "Good morn- Lilly!"

Generation 3: It's A Dry Heat

"I can't believe this is our new house..." "Well it was either this or the boat house, Lilly and this had room to expand. It was also the nicest out of all our choices."

You Say Goodbye, And I Say Hello

It was getting close to Kenneth and Lisa's elder birthdays. Pearl decided to work out a bit for the occasion. Really she was just trying to look good in case any boys her age came to the party.

Romeo Void

First day of high school. Pearl was thrilled. She ran out to the school bus before it even honked it's horn. "Good morning Ms. Mail Lady! Lilly, hurry up, you're gonna be late!"

Double Trouble: Teen Style

A few days later, Lilly ran up to Pearl where she was, once again, riding the rocking horse. "Hey Pearl, I had an idea. We should totally have a slumber birthday party! Have an awesome party and in the morning, celebrate our birthdays!"

Creepy Critters Under the Bed

Lisa was excited for her first day of work and was eager when the carpool came. Little did she know that Pearl was going to encounter some problems while she was gone.

Best Thing Ever!

Lisa decided to try again at the whole birthday party thing when it was time for the twins to age up again. Nicolas and Zoe Durwood were the first to arrive.

A Beautiful Day

The days went quickly and it was soon time for the twin's birthdays. First up was Pearl since she was born first.

Double Trouble

Kenneth quickly rushed out of the room to find Lisa. He immediately buried his face in to her shoulder. "Kenneth, what's wrong?" "Mom! She... Sh-she! She's gone! The Grim Reaper took her and now she's gone! What am I going t-to do...!?" "Oh Kenneth..."

Knock, Knock, Knockin' On Heaven's Door

As soon as Lisa had the time, she invited the girls over for practice. However she got quite the shock when they arrived. Not only was Faith an elder, so was Christie! I guess Kenneth dodged the bullet there. But Lisa was fed up. She had wanted a hip girl band but not only had they never gotten one gig, but her girls were aging before her eyes.

You Dog, You

The following morning, Kenneth woke up and sleepily looked out the window. Lisa was soon to follow as the lack of Kenneth's warmth woke her up. "Good morning, Kenny."

Kissy Kissy Goo Goo

Later in the evening, Lisa and Kenneth retired to the couch to watch some television. "So Kenneth, how's it going with Christie? You never did tell me."

Rock Out Loud

  In the morning, Lisa whispered to Kenneth in the kitchen. "Guess what... I started a band!" Kenneth laughed a little. "Really?" "Yeah, want to join?"

Generation Two: Artsy Fartsy

"A new beginning... A new place... This house is as empty as my heart, for I am all alone."

Moving On

The next day Nicolas had his birthday. Despite all the gloom from Homer's death, the family was able to enjoy the celebration.

A Dark Shadow

Birthday time! Who's birthday? Why momma Allison, that's who! This time Allison was able to have a party surrounded by family.

My Not So Imaginary Friend

"Son, I know you're quite attached to this uhh... 'imaginary friend' you have. I've been working on it for a long time and I finally have a potion to change your friend in to a real person. But it's up to you if you want to. Do you?"

Teenage Dream

One day, Homer got a letter in the mail telling him that he and Allison got a free vacation. "Are you sure this is real? Are you sure everything will be okay?" Allison was worried. "It's fine. Nick's a good boy and he knows to hire the baby sitter while he's at school. Besides, you deserve some time off!"

Big Brother Nick

Allison quickly got to the hospital. This time there wasn't any doctors hooting and a-hollering outside.

Fwoom!

True to his word, Homer began to help around the house. He also began to spend time with his children. Homer played blocks with Nick.

Babies, Birthdays, and a Bit of Change

Guess who's having a baby!? As Allison goes in to the hospital to have her second baby, a few doctors are outside standing around and freaking out. Shouldn't you boys be... I don't know, helping her?

Here Comes Baby

Since Allison had been throwing up the whole day, she decided to sleep in her old bed. Before the sun even rose, Allison awoke to find the faint beginnings of a baby bump. While things were happening so fast, she was filled with joy at the thought of having a baby. After all, she was family oriented.

I Do... What?

 

After Homer went to bed and Allison eventually came home, the sun rose once more to bring a new day. With that new day came Homer's drive to go to the alchemy shop. He left without a word to Allison, as he normally does, and took a taxi down to the store.

If I Must...

When morning came about, Allison went inside Homer's cabin. After all, if she was going to be trapped here, she deserved some breakfast. And what a breakfast it was. Uck... This man cooks as bad as he looks... But I might as well eat what he has... While Allison sat as far from Homer as possible and ate her breakfast, she spoke out to him. "So... I get I'm a prisoner and all, but I have work later today that I would really like to get to. You know a job? Where I make money?"

Generation One: I Am Ugly, Hear Me Roar

We begin our story with a man named Homer del Saco, (a play on the Spanish boogeyman hombre del saco, or the Sack Man who likes to steal away naughty children in his bag, probably for a snack later.) Isn't he a sexy beast.

Introduction

Hello! And welcome to my Sims 3 Prettacy! For those who don't know, a prettacy is a challenge in which you take the ugliest sim you can think of, and try to breed the ugly out of it in ten generations. While my begining sim isn't the ugliest I've seen, I still like him. I had made him to be a mean old hermit in another game. Well I fell in love with him so much, I decided to give him his own story. My other founder I made as well, but she will be the only one I make. I had a story in mind and a random sim wouldn't quite do. However for the rest of the generations, the sims are stuck with what the game gives me. I also will be desperatly trying not to control anyone but my founders. I haven't decided yet if I will control my heir's spouse in the future, but I wont be controling the children for sure. Not until they become an heir, that is. Anyway, I think that's all.
