Double Trouble: Teen Style

A few days later, Lilly ran up to Pearl where she was, once again, riding the rocking horse. "Hey Pearl, I had an idea. We should totally have a slumber birthday party! Have an awesome party and in the morning, celebrate our birthdays!"

Pearl smiled. "That's a great idea! Let's go tell mom and dad."

After getting permission from Kenneth and Lisa, Lilly was allowed to invite over the kids on the day of the party. The twins were excited and made sure there was lots of room to sleep.

However when evening approached, they got an awful surprise. All the kids were teenagers! But they were kids when they called! Hmph, perhaps they aged up between the phone call and night time.

Kenneth made dinner but ate silently. This was awkward. What was he going to do with all these teenagers around his daughters?

Finally he decided to call up Lisa at work and ask her to bring home two cakes. They were going to have the birthday party early.

While the girls were having fun talking to the teenagers, Gator Wolff caught Pearl's eye. She looked away shyly from him when he smiled. While he had some 'large' features such as his nose and jaw, he was pretty handsome.

Finally Lisa came home and it was time to celebrate. First up, as always, was Pearl. Gator was the only one who came to hoot and holler at first.

But one of the girls came to join them soon.

Hmm... Frumpy. Let's fix that.

Splendid! Such a cutie. Pearl aged up to gain the Genius trait. Perhaps she was tired of being a step behind Lilly.

Next was Lilly. Gator left but some more kids showed up.

Well! Certainly shows that Lilly got Lisa's Imaginary Friend status. Lisa smiled while Pearl laughed. Everyone else was stunned, especially Kenneth. He wasn't expecting that.

Well I wasn't expecting this. As soon as I changed her hairstyle, her hair color changed. It kept happening so I tried to save her hair color. What's this!? As you can clearly see, her hair is brown, but the hair color wheel shows it as something else! Ugh, I give up. Fine, if the game wants that as her hair color, then so be it.

Let's give her a wild look to go with that wild hair. She gained the trait Couch Potato. I guess the twins have more in common than I thought. Unfortunately as soon as the girls had their birthdays, all the guests left so they never even got to try to socialize. Some party...

Pearl woke up early the next morning with lots of plans. However those plans didn't go very well as she found out Ella had fleas. She tried to give her a bath but she refused and then Pearl ended up with fleas.

Pearl gave up and went to have breakfast. Lisa looked over as she finished up her own breakfast. "Pearl, don't you think you should wear something other than your school uniform on the weekends?" "Hmm... I guess you're right. I'll go changed. By the way, Ella has fleas." Lisa sighed. "Great..."

Pearl changed in to a pretty yellow dress. "There... Now I just need to get rid of these fleas!"

Meanwhile, Lisa was able to get Ella in the bath and scrub her down.

After taking a bath to rid herself of the fleas, Pearl was FINALLY able to get down to the business center to take a class in writing.

Meanwhile back at home, Lilly sat down with Kenneth to watch television. "So uh... You're not going to go join some heavy metal rock band or some nonsense like that, right?" Lilly laughed.

"No dad, I have no interest in that. No worries there." Kenneth sighed. "That's good... You kind of worried me for a minute there with your... fashion sense."

"Nope... I'll probably go be a scientist... Or maybe a politician... Or the Empress of Evil!" "Now that worries me..."

Just then, Pearl walked in, back from her class. "Hey Lilly, want to head to the park with me?"

"Hmm? Yeah, that sounds like fun." Kenneth looked at the clock. "It's getting kind of late. Don't stay out past curfew, okay?" "Yeah dad! No problem!" Lilly ran out with Pearl.

When the girls got to the park, it had become dark. The two decided to climb up to the tower and hang out. "Hey you know what I just realized? We never came here as kids, you know?"

"Yeah, that's kinda too bad... Oh well."

"Hey Lilly, at our party, did any of the boys catch your interest?"

Lilly scrunched up her face. "No! They were all dogs, literally. Both boys there were werewolves. Why, did you like one of them?"

Pearl giggled at her werewolf comment. "Well... Yeah... I thought Gator Wolff was kinda cute..." Lilly laughed. "Him! He was such a dork! And who names their kid Gator anyway!?" "Maybe because he bites like one." They both laughed.

Pearl slid down the pole and ran to the seesaw. "Lilly! Come try this thing out with me!"

"Yeah, alright. I'm coming." Lilly slid down the pole before coming over to the seesaw.

"Heh, this is kind of fun... Though I feel like a big dork on it." Pearl giggled at Lilly.

Lilly got bored pretty quick so Pearl went over to the swings. "Hey Lilly. Look over by the band stand. There's some older guys over there." Lilly smirked. "Yes, yes there are..."

Pearl hoped off the swing and in to the sandbox as one of those older men walked over. "Lilly...! One of those guys are behind you...!"

Lilly watched him with a smile as he came around her front. However that smile quickly turned to a frown as he began to yell at her. "Darn kids these days, dressing like a disco club exploded and a rainbow barfed on them! Can't you kids dress like sensible people!" Pearl looked down. "Oh boy, here we go."

"What the heck, man! For one, mind your own business and stop whining like a baby! Second of all, no one goes to discos anymore, ya old geezer! Now butt out!" "Oh boy..."

Pearl walked over to Lilly and whispered. "Lilly, come on, lets go. I don't want to piss off this guy any more. I think he's a vampire..."

Lilly grunted. "My Plumbob, Pearl! You're such a wuss! Fine let's go. It's almost curfew anyway..."
