A Beautiful Day

The days went quickly and it was soon time for the twin's birthdays. First up was Pearl since she was born first.

Looks like she inherited Homer's eyes, but look at that pretty blue hair! What a cutie!

Next up was Lilly. By the way, they did hold a birthday party for them. But apparently Nicolas and Emma were more concerned with playing with other things in the house than their niece's birthdays. Nice.

Ahh! Ahhh! Oh god! Oh... wait... She just got Homer's eyes and hair... Okay.. We can deal with that. Again, with Homer I meant the gray hair to be aesthetic. So lets give her a wee makeover.

That's better... All I changed were the highlights. The hair color is a bit different due to the hairstyle.

Later that night while everyone was asleep, someone else had a birthday. Happy birthday Ella! You may not be much bigger, but at least you can run faster.

The next day, the whole family took a walk down to the park.

It was a beautiful day and Lisa thought they could all use some fresh air and sunshine. Plus Lisa wanted to try playing for tips but didn't want to leave everyone home alone.

Thus while Lisa played on stage with some others, Kenneth started teaching Pearl how to walk while Lilly played with her imaginary friend doll. Yes the girls have dolls, no they will not be featured. Lisa and Ajax were a pain enough as it was. I mean... I love you Lisa!

As the sun got lower in the sky, Kenneth decided to grill up some hot dogs while Lisa took a break from playing.

By the time they got home, the babies were tired and cranky. So it was off to bed for them.

The next couple of days were full of training. Whether it was potty training...

Reading skill books....

Or learning how to talk. They did it all.

Kenneth and Lisa had been so caught up with the twins, they had completely forgotten about their own birthdays! As Kenneth went to make dinner, he suddenly remembered and began to celebrate.

Did his eyebrows get bushier? Oh well, doesn't matter. He looks gooood.

Lisa had to get out of the car to celebrate as she had been coming home from a job to drum for the troops.

Er, don't worry, we'll fix that.

A few days later, Lisa went down to the park to play for more tips. However this picture is only to show how cool that old lady werewolf is. I don't remember her name, just that she looked pretty darn cool.

Meanwhile at home, I learned something I did not know. Apparently two babies who know how to talk can converse over toys. They also like to discuss politics and future romances.

All that was left for the family was to prepare for Pearl and Lilly's next birthday. Lilly liked to spend her time playing with the blocks while Pearl demonstrated what she'll do to her future husband. "That's right sweety the square goes there- Pearl, don't eat the dolls head!"

    1. Aren't they though? Lilly scared me though. When I saw that hair, I could only imagine what else she had. Apparently Homer has very strong color genetics...
