Fall Brings Changes

A few days later, Sahan called up Pearl to go on a date. It was a simple dinner and a movie but Pearl loved every minute of it.

After their dinner, they decided to stargaze together.

Sahan took this time to whisper sweet nothings in Pearl's ear.

When it was time for them to go home, Pearl saw this down near the dinner.

"A unicorn...? Well this must be a good sign..."

After many days of rain, the sky cleared up just in time for Spooky Day! Everyone got in to costume and made their way down to the festival ground. Alexander desperately wanted a family photo so they went and got one.

Later they hung it up in the kitchen. Possibly my favorite picture in that house.

The family then split up to do different things. Pearl nabbed the last two pumpkins so that later she and Alexander could carve them.

Alexander decided to brave the haunted house.

He ran out screaming but he loved every minute of it. He also looked SO adorable in that costume.

Lilly decided to order some apple cider donuts while Pearl bobbed for apples. She won of course.

Alexander wanted to compete in the pie eating contest but changed out of his costume to do so. He didn't want pie all over his new outfit.

That lady won followed by Pearl. Aww, better luck next year, bud.

After washing their faces and Alex went back to being a scary pirate, they got to work carving pumpkins at home. Lilly didn't mind not having a pumpkin to carve. She was exhausted and went to bed.

Pearl soon joined Alex after getting cleaned up. Pie sure is sticky.

Mushy! On a side note, doesn't Pearl look so cute in that genie outfit?

Alex's pumpkin didn't turn out so well. Pearl laughed. "It's okay sweety. We can still light it up. I bet that will scare anyone off."

Pearl's turned out just fine. That's an awesome face.

Sadly it began to rain again and Alex was only able to hit one house. Pearl hadn't realized that all the houses across the street were empty. Oh well. At least this guy was nice enough to give out candy even though he was throwing a party.

Speaking of parties, there was a big one coming up! For some reason or another Alex's birthday fell on the twin's birthday as well. So Pearl decided to throw a big bash. Lots of people came and some brought yummy food.

Wowza! He certainly looks like Jaycen but I think besides his mom's eye color, he has her nose too. Alex aged up to gain the Neat trait.

Next up was Pearl.

Still looking good, momma!

Then of course was Lilly. "I wish we could move to somewhere not desert."

A lot of people seem to be surprised that she still looks good. She's not that old, people!

Lilly got to dance with this fairy followed by that older werewolf in the background that gave Alex trick or treating candy. She's certainly popular for a cranky woman.

While Lilly was dancing it up and Pearl had disappeared outside with Sahan, Alex decided to clean up the food everyone left all over the place. You're such a good boy, Alex.

Pearl had disappeared outside in to the frosty weather to ask Sahan a very important question. "Sahan... Would you like to make it official and be my boyfriend?"

Sahan immediately kissed her. "I thought you'd never ask."

Pearl was all flushed. "W-well.. Now that we've got that settled... Do you want to move in with us? I mean, you're over here a lot anyway."

"That'd be great! I love being here and above all, I love being with you."

After a little fashion make over and some additions to the house, Sahan was welcomed in to the family.

Pearl was having a midlife crisis and decided to give herself a little makeover as well.

Lilly invited Pearl out to play chess one night. "So... Pearl... I thought he was rich."

"His family's rich. Apparently his dad wanted him to marry some girl and since he refused and moved in here, he cut him off." "We're lucky to of had enough saved to changed the house around a little. He was still living with his parents though?"

"Well I thought it was just because he was rich, so why not. Turns out he's a young, and I mean young adult. Like fresh out of the pup stage. Explains why he's so awkward some times."

"Are you serious? Great, now we have to deal with a young werewolf who was spoiled all his life and probably doesn't know a thing about making money."
